Wedding at Villa Lattuada

R&A have different origins. She comes from Romania, he from Canton Ticino.

From our first meeting, the bride told me that she dreamt of a wedding set in a fairytale castle. For this reason, I immediately thought of a wonderful castle in France, but then they opted to stay closer to home. Thus, the search was reopened. However, thanks to my knowledge, it was not difficult to find the perfect location – Villa Lattuada, an imposing historic residence that is extremely romantic, ancient but not heavy. It is its light and delicate colours that make this location truly unique, similar to a fairytale castle, and therefore the perfect backdrop for my bride and groom. Within such an elegant setting, our aim was to recreate the atmosphere of a home, so we hired antique furnitures from a private villa.
For the cerimony, managed by Cerimonie Laiche, we chose the perfect solution for the multilingual audience; the ceremony was conducted in Italian, but all the foreign guests received an earphone that allowed them to listen to the entire ceremony with a simultaneous translator, without missing a single moment and avoiding a dual-language ceremony, which would have been too long.

The cerimony was then enriched by the emotional passing of the crown, a very meaningful romanian ritual. Making truly perfect the moment was the music, with a piano and white violins, masterfully played by musicians also dressed in white. After the evocative ceremony, it was time for the reception, during which pink dominated the scene, with its sweet and, at times, more lustrous tones that characterised Dahra Living‘s flowers. At this point, violins and piano were replaced by a black grand piano, followed by a DJ and the voice of Valentina Mey.
The moment when the dances were opened was the most special: two illuminated platforms to give all the attention to this very heartfelt moment for the bride and groom; it was R and dad to start dancing; then, with a handshake, dad stepped aside and a very romantic waltz began with the groom.
Capturing every moment were Paolo di Falco‘s shots and Michele Dell’Utri‘s videos.

An intimate wedding, very very romantic, elegant even if broken up by the strong colours, characterised by the naturalness of the moss, an interweaving of styles that nonetheless created a perfect union, exactly like the bride and groom.
