M&M are an English sweet couple who decided to live own wedding party admist the beauty of Lugano’s Lake.
Having previously celebrated their wedding, these beautiful newlyweds chose to rely on me to organise their wedding party, a joyful and simple celebration in which to welcome their guests to share the happiness of their magical ‘yes’. An unusual request perhaps, but one that immediately fascinated me! So… destination wedding party it is!
To celebrate together with families and friends who had arrived from overseas, we chose a location worthy of this love and very symbolic for the bride and groom, the Lido di Lugano. M&M’s desire was to transform this location into a cosy, natural and simple setting reminiscent of an intimate lakeside garden. And so it was, almost by magic.
I thought of an intimate dinner table for them. No tablecloths or flashy decorations, just a delicate family atmosphere, made candid by the light shades of the decorations: a touch of blue on the glasses, candles, the white and green flowers of Dahra Living. Capturing an indelible memory during these simple but meaningful moments were Federico Vecchio’s shots. And, although the lido was open to the public and the set-up necessarily set up in a very short time, M&M’s wedding dream took shape in an extraordinary and exciting way.
